Douglas Adams
was a writer and humorist who authored The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, which is a science fiction comedy that explores various aspects of technology, philosophy, and culture. He also wrote Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency series, The Meaning of Liff , Last Chance to See , and The Salmon of Doubt . He died of a heart attack in 2001.
